- Red Armbro tried to make all; Toys Art Us was in close touch and cruised to take it up in the closing stages. Well done to K. Santry, new owner of Toys,
while Red Armbo ran a cracker.

- 1. Bad Girl Hall (J. Burns), 4/1
- 2. Newtown Perdition(A. O'Reilly), 5/1
- 3. What A Man (M.O'Donovan),6/4 fav. 9 ran, 1 1/2l, 4l.
- Newtown Perdition led from the start. What A man contended early and Bad Girl was always in touch and kept trying. She succeeded on the straight.
- Heat Two
- 1. Ayr Storm (K.Sheehy), 3/1
- 2. Red Cam (R.Shanahan), 4/5
- 3. Hillside Dream (P.Hill), 2/1. 8 ran, 7l,4l.
- Ayr Storm stole a march. Red Cam went in pursuit but could not catch him.
- Heat Three
- 1. Stoneriggs Quail(F. Brickley), 4/5 fav.
- 2. Ayr Strike (M. Brickley), 3/1
- 3. Crown Direct(N. McSweeney),6/1. 7 ran, 1/2l,1L.
- Wily veteran Stoneriggs Quail set the pace, and was not to be denied. He was followed throughout by Ayr Strike, and Mister Hill several times got on
terms but had to give best.
- NOTE: The first three home in these three heats qualify for the final tomorrow.
- Grand Prix, Heat 1
- 1. Home Ambrose(T.Murphy), 2/1
- 2. Porterstown Zach (B. Roche), 6/1
- 3. Cult Direct(S. Jennings), 5/1. 6 ran, nk, nk. 3m.27secs
- Bytheway led until the straight when he broke. Home Ambrose and P. Zach were in close touch, while fav. Papa Joe left things very late indeed and finished
4th.
- Heat 2
- 1. Stubby's Fool(M. Kelleher), 8/1
- 2. Coalford Victory(T. Murphy), 5/2
- 3. Dilly's In Command (A. O'Reilly), 6/1. 7ran, 1/2l, 1/2l. 3m.12secs
- Coalford Victory led until they got onto the homestraight when Stubby took it up. A good run out of Dilly's In Command. Fav. Zidane did not feature.
- NOTE: The first 4 home qualify for Monday's final, so 4th place in this, Destiny's Dream is in.
- Trot
- 1. Reuben Launcher (G. Kane),6/1
- 2. Sasha Victory (N. Stafford), 6/1
- 3. Only Still (M.Goggin), 6/1. 7ran, 5l,1 1/2l. 2m.45secs
- Ebony Jane led them off but went off stride in the early stages. Getting into things, fav. CA Pelle took command. Sasha Victory was always thereabouts.
CA Pelle, when leading, went badly off stride with 2f to go.Reuben had moved up and took it up. Neil Dragon had broke at the start, and Ebony Jane lost
gait again as she looked as if she might get closer.
- C & D Saddle
- DH between:
- Hilton Genius(M.O'Reilly), 2/1 and
- The Orient Express (A. Hill),3/1
- 3. Perfect Red (P.Shanahan), 6/4. 5 ran, 7l. 2m.08.9.
- Hilton Genius led from the start, but, by the business end, was closely tracked by the others. In the last bend, in a bunch, fav. Sable Decision unseated her
rider, leaving it to The Orient Express to wear down the leader.
- Maidens:
- 1. Harrier's Decision(D.Murphy),6/1
- 2. Artefact(R.Cleary),5/4 fav;
- 3. Back In Business (D. O'Reilly), 6/1. 8 ran, 5l,1/2l. 2m.llsecs.
- Back In Business led for most but Harrier's Decision was always in touch. He took over at the business end, while Artefact seemed to leave his challenge
late.
- Improver/Intermediate
- 1. Meadowbranch Katie (A. Hill), 4/1
- 2. Shannonside (W. McInerney),6/4
- 3. Stan The Man (P.Kane,sr, 1/1 fav. 5 ran,10l,5l.
- A surprise here. Young Clemency led in the early stages but Hill changed her tactics and Katie cruised to the front before halfway, and from there, set sail
for home.
- Consolation:
- 1. Disraeli Quest (A. Hamilton),6/1
- 2. Stoneriggs Wizard (D.Murphy),1/1 fav.
- 3. Mister Hill(M. Kane),5/2.8 ran,1 1/2l,3l.
- Disqueli Quest led from the start. Sharpe was in close pursuit throughout most. Wizard finally found daylight but had too much to do,and the veteran in front
was not to be denied.
- P. J. Shanahan Memorial Final:
- 1. Newtown Perdition(A.O'Reilly,3/1 fav;
- 2. Bad Girl Hall (J. Burns),4/1
- 3. Red Cam(R.Shanahan),6/1.9 ran,1 1/2l,2l. 2m.6.6secs
- Red Cam set the pace, with Stoneriggs Quail in strong early contention. Perdition kept up with the leaders. On the backstraight for the last time, Bad Girl
got a nice run upon the inside. Behind Red Cam, Bad Girl and Perdition had a brief tussle but the latter prevailed and went on to reel in Red Cam. A good
race, and the 1-2-3 are good horses indeed.
- Three-Year-Olds:

- 2. All Inn (M. Kelleher), 1/3 fav;
- 3. Marion Hall (W. McKittrick), 8/1. 6 ran,1/2l,7l. 2m.06secs
- This was a re-run as in the first start, there was a slip-up. As a result of this, Hillside Hi Ho and Lakeview Security did not contest the re-run. AllInn led until
the closing stages, where he had no answer to The March Hare's final challenge. The winner had tracked All Inn throughout.

Stubby's Fool, 4/1, broke badly early on and never got back into the hunt.
- Papa Joe led from the start. Coalford Victory gave chase. Cult Direct was in early contention and around half way, Destiny's Dream tried to improve on his
position in fourth. Dillywas moving closer. On the back straight for the last time, it was apparent Victory was not going to get on terms. Dilly came with a big
run on the straight but the post came too soon. Ambrose seems to have left things late.
- Grade B Saddle:

- The winner led from the start. Porterstown Zach looked like making runner-up but Hello Fella got there first, a credit to himself and his jockey who was
having his first ever race ride.
