- Perfect Fella took over from Teadies Pride as they settled, and were followed by Hillside Security. They continued like that until about half way, when
Perfect Fella gave a skip, but Teadies Pride and Posh Paddy both went off stride. Heading into the last lap, Hillside Security was in second, but as she
challenged, she went off stride. Posh Paddy then challenged Perfect Fella but Hillside Security got back pacing and overhauled the pair of them.

- 1. J. O'Mahony's Glan Teifi (M. Brickley), 1//1 jf
- 2. Shanley Racing's Perfect Red (R. Shanahan), 1/1 jf
- 3. T. O'Reilly's Merrington JR (S. O'Reilly), 4/1.
- 4. NCG Racing's Young Clemency (J. McSweeney), 4/1.

- Also Ran: Lana Haw Lea. NR: Lakeside Gold
- Merrington JR led for most. Lana Haw Lea was in early contention but as they went into the last circuit, Glan Teifi was in second. He took over as they
headed into the last bend, while Perfect Red, having been somewhat discommoded at the start, came with a late challenge on the straight.
- Race 3, Intermediate
- 1. S. Buckley's Red Cam (R. Shanahan), 1/1 fav.
- 2. D. & S. O'Donovan's Dreamland (S. O'Donovan), 4/1
- 3. Kelleher Bros's Meadowbranch Katie (A. O'Reilly), 6/4
- 4. O'Donovan/Shanahan's Enorm Girl (J. O'Donovan), 4/1.

- Red Cam led from the start. Dreamland tried hard but could not get on terms. Meadowbranch Katie was in third throughout most and although she looked
to have every chance, could not improve on this.

- 1. S. Cronin's Difficult Decision (D. Murphy), 1/1 fav.
- 2. M. O'Driscoll's Staly Princed (S. Jennings), 3/1
- 3. M. O'Donovan's Run'N'Jump (Owner), 4/1
- 4. MCT Racing's Free Spirit (M. Goggin), 6/1.

- Also Ran: Creategold, Mass Attack, Southlands Merlin, Rianne's Princess. NR: Yvonne's Princess.
- Difficult Decision led from the start in a race in which the veterans showed them how. Creategold contended throughout most while Staly Princed kept in
touch and Mass Attack was very unsettled. Run'N'Jump challenged late but just failed to peg back Staly Princed for runner-up.

- 1. P. Hill's Hillside Dream (P. Hill), 1/1 fav.
- 2. M. Brickley's Stoneriggs Quail (F. Brickley), 4/1
- 3. Caroline Sheehy's Disraeli Quest (A. Hamilton), 4/1
- 4. Patricia Carey's Destiny's Dream (G. Carey), 3/1.

- Also Ran: Ayr Strike, Better By Design, The Orient Express, Cult Direct
- Hillside Dream was in command from the start. For most of a circuit, Disraeli Quest tried to get on terms but had to give best. Heading into the last lap,
Stoneriggs Quail challenged but could not prevail. On the straight, the winner showed he had more in hand while Disraeli Quest got back into things in time
to fill the frame.
- Race 6, Grade C & D
- 1. Kelleher Bros's Meadowbranch Jake (J. Reid), 2/1
- 2. J. McCarthy's Bytheway (M. O'Reilly), 1/2 fav.
- 3. M. Goggin's Oreanna (Deirdre Goggin), 4/1
- 4. D. Bennett's Duggan's Diplomat (J. O'Donovan), 8/1.
- 6l, 5l. 2m.15 secs
- Also Ran: Master Fox, Direct Glance, Do The Business, Sable Decision (s.u.). NR: Stoneriggs Vanity
- Meadowbranch Jake set the pace at flagfall. Sable Decision was not long giving chase Bytheway was slightly unsettled but when Sable Decision slipped up,
made his move and took over briefly from the winner. But his reign was shortlived and from there on Meadowbranch Jake was in no danger from anyone as
he handed John Reid his first win.

- 1. Kelleher Bros's The Blue Fox (J. Reid), 1/3 fav.
- 2. J. P. O'Donovan's Coalford Jet (M. Aherne), 3/1
- 3. Dunmanway Racing Club's Sharpe (J. Healy), 6/1
- 4. Kelleher Bros's Newtown Commander (S. Quill), 4/1.

- Coalford Jet set a cracking pace, playing catch-me-if-you-can and only The Blue Fox was able to do so Newtown Commander briefly headed Coalford
Jet in the early stages, but the winner was only waiting and took over as they got serious in the last lap. A decent performance by Sharpe.
