This was a thriller. Stoneriggs Rascal was first to show, with He's The Man in close pursuit. Hello Fella soon made his move and was in front at halfway, where he turned first. These three titans, Hello Fella, He's The Man and Stoneriggs Rascal drew away from the field at a cracking pace. After the last turn, He's The Man was leading, followed by Stoneriggs Rascal, while Hello Fella began to fade. Casey B, a strong finisher, put that talent to work and in the dying strides, forged clear. Coalford Connection finished 4th but was disqualified for not turning the last.
