Race 1. Novice. 800 Euro.

Race Time: 1:39 -- Start Time: 14:30

3 horses ran -- S.P. 1/2 Fav, 6/4, 3/1. Dist.: 8L, 9L.

The lightly-raced Celtic Dream seemed to have no trouble with this. Tina's Dream led them off but Celtic Dream was in front as they came back into view.

Race 2. Grade B. 1,000 Euro.

Also Ran: Leterass de Perriers (A.Tanno) -- S.P. 2/5 Fav, 4/1, 6/1, 5/2. Dist.: 10L, 1 1/2L.

Mack's Direct was first to show but Coalford Victory soon took over and never looked in any danger thereafter. He approached the half-way turn in front, followed by Just Flash, but Mack's Direct, from third, turned better than Just Flash, while Joe Mosely was far from fluent. No matter, as Coalford Victory won as he liked.

Race 3. Golden Mile. 1,000 Euro.

Race Time: 1:59 -- Start Time: 15:00

Also Ran: Green Bow Tie (J.Sheehy), Hello Horatio (M.Duggan) -- S.P. 1/2 Fav, 3/1, 3/1, 4/1. Dist.: 7L, 8L, 3L.

He's The Man led from the start and had no trouble at all staying in front. Nothing more to say except that Webbo went well and his day in the sun should come soon.

Race 4. Grade D. 1,000 Euro.

Race Time: 2:09 -- Start Time: 15:15

Also Ran: Classic Commander (P.Hill), Crazy Hawk (D.McCarthy), Direct Hit (N.McSweeney) -- S.P. 2/1, 1/2 Fav, 4/1, 4/1. Dist.: 6L, 1L, 15L.

Frisco Lady led them in to the first turn, followed by Bailey's Please. She was also first away, while Classic Commander once more refused to turn. Back into sight for the last time, Bachelor Boy closed with Frisco Lady and then had no trouble drawing away.

Race 5. Grade E. 800 Euro.

Race Time: 2:00 -- Start Time: 15:30

Also Ran: Lady Invincible (D.McCarthy), Tyler's Joy (M.Duggan) -- S.P. 6/4, 6/1, 4/5 Fav, 6/1. Dist.: 2 1/2L, 6L, 8L.

Leesdale Star led for most of this, but having made the half-way turn in the mile race, Direct Rocket crept closer, and proved the stronger on the run-in.

Race 6. Grade C. 1,000 Euro.

Race Time: 2:08 -- Start Time: 15:45

Also Ran: Better by Design (N.McSweeney), Create Gold (J.McSweeney) -- S.P. 2/1, 6/1, 7/2, 3/1. Dist.: 5L, 8L.

Goldfella was a start to finish winner in this. He was tracked closely enough by Mickey Taker, but always seemed to have the measure of that one. Better By Design refused to turn, and like Classic Commander, would benefit from remedial schooling.

Race 7. Grade A. 1,400 Euro.

Race Time: 4:19 -- Start Time: 16:10

4 horses ran -- S.P. 1/3 Fav, 4/1, 5/2, 4/1. Dist.: 10L, 1 1/2L.

This looked like it might be an exciting race, as Julius Karen was well away in front after the midway turn. But he broke on the straight, leaving Fidlin to take it up and go on for another easy win.
