Home At Last led from the start and won easily. Better By Design was in second at halfway, but refused to turn. Here, Coalford Cobra and Hello Horatio followed Home At Last out of the turn while Crown Direct went off stride. None of them improved (at least tellingly) on their positions thereafter.

A decent race. Shuttle Buddy entered the first turn in front, but Frisco Lady got out of it in front. Bachelor Boy was happy in third and judging by his performance on the run for home, was always going to be the winner.

Matty O led them into the first turn, but Star's Rainbow rounded it slightly in front, while Buddy refused to turn. Heading out, Matty O regained ascendency. Heading for home, Creategold had crept closer. Matty O was unsettled on the run in, galloped over the line but kept the race as he was so far ahead.

Goldfella led until after halfway. He turned here in front of Mack's Direct, Just Flash and Fidlin. On the straight for home, Fidlin was travelling sweetly in front, followed by Just Flash, while Casey B, which had got going late, got closer. But Just Flash was able to fend him off to take bridesmaid's honours once again.
