
Alan Wallace is one of Ireland's top harness racing trainer-drivers. He has had the opportunity to driver pacers and trotters in most countries where harness racing takes place.
Alan's family owns and operates a large breeding and training establishment just outside Dublin. Stallions are imported from the both the North American market and Europe to service this increasing market.
Alan regularly travels to Canada to negotiate the importation of harness and sulkies and while spending his time there has been known to drive a winner or two for trainer Jim Whelan. His is also a regular attendee at the annual Harrisburg Sales, and makes visits to the Little Brown Jug and the Hambletonian.
Alan represented Ireland in 1997 in an Invitational Driving Series held in Moscow, Russia and here he finished a respectable 5th and he emerged as victor in the 5 Nations Driving Championships back in 2000 while representing Ireland.
