TO REGISTER A HORSE YOU WILL NEED
- Covering Certificate
- Vets Markings
- Microchipped
- Fee Applicable According To Age
- Application Form
All stallions standing at stud must be DNA TYPED, andnew format covering certificates with a section for the birth notification are being issued. For covering certs prior to 2000, the IHRC will issue them and STAGBI will honour them, covering certs onwards will be issued by STAGBI at a cost of £10stg. and must be prepaid before issue.
COVERING CERTIFICATES WILL ONLY BE ISSUED TO STALLIONS THAT HAVE BEEN DNA TESTED AND ENTERED INTO THE STUD BOOK.
Microchips are available from Mrs. Violet Hurley (028-37316) and cost 16 Euro per chip.
The following is the list of fees for registering a horse:
- Yearling: 23 Euro
- 2 Year Old: 46 Euro
- 3 Year Old or over: 80 Euro
Application forms are available from secretary on the day of racing or by contacting secretary Kerry Burchill (028-36446)
APPLICATION FORMS MUST BE COMPLETED ON BOTH SIDES

It is the responsibility of the registered owner at the time of sale to sign the horse out of his / her name. Should anything happen in the future the registered owner will be liable. On completion of this form it must be forwarded to STAGBI along with the passport and the name and address of the new owner and fee os 13 Euro (NOTE: it is compulsory to be a member of STAGBI to have a horse registered in your name, fee = 7 Euro annually)
NOTE THAT ANY ENTRY WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED OR APPEAR ON A RACE CARD, IF ALL PAPER WORK IS NOT IN ORDER

- Congratulations to Christopher and Lisa O'Sullivan recent Golden Web Award Winners.
- Following this year's AGM the executive have sourced a company to produce numbered saddle cloths, these will be introuduced as soon as possible...once in our possesion.
- David Sheehy is the official cameraman for the association for the coming season. For any video enquiries contact David at 028-22761
- Lisa O'Sullivan is the official photographer. Photos are on sale, contact Lisa 023-43366
- Christopher O'Sullivan is the official race timekeeper
- The association have purchased a new microchip scanner for the coming season, regular spot checking of microchips will be inforced
- A register of horse owners is currently in progress, if you are not on the register by the last day of racing you will not be entitled to a vote at the association and horse owners AGM's.
- All horses must be registered two weeks before racing. Registration officers are: Paddy Collins (028-33398) and Violey Hurley (028-37316)

TO ALL STALLION OWNERS:
ALL covering certificates for foals born in 2000, 2001 and 2002 must be ordered and prepaid, before the end of December 2002, from STAGBI through Bernie as soon as possible.
