ITHRF SHOWING OF OUR STANDARDBREDS AT SKIBBEREEN SHOW

• Even being a Thursday we had a good turnout. We showed 6 mares and 3 foals. -- all great looking.
• The judges: Joe Sheehy and Paddy O' Driscoll.
• As we showed our horses there was another big competition going on in the neighboring ring. We had our own spectators around the ring, and it was good to see that half way through the showing a good number of men watching ring no 1 turned around to take a look at our mares and foals in ring no. 3.

• Class 9 STANDARDBRED FOAL with free flowing tail and mane
• 1st prize: Finbarr Brickley with his colt foal "Ringo" (s. Timon Del Sol; d. Miss Miller)
• 2nd prize: John Shanahan with his colt foal (s. Cams Security; d. Staley Friday)
• 3rd prize: Nealie Duggan (T. O'Reilly) with his colt foal (s.Cams Security, d. Coalford Sky)

The next show is hopefully BANTRY on Sunday, 4 September 2005, (to date still in negotiations for a Standardbred Class).
