IHRC License/Race Fees/Handicap Marks update

The following is a list of the current License holders together with a list of horses with paid up race fees and their associated handicap marks. Some handicap marks have yet to be established and this list will be updated on a regular basis throughout the season, horses with an age deduction applied are denoted with #.

This list forms the basis from which all tracks/promoters are allowed to accept entries to race, entries from unlicensed people or for horses with unpaid race fees are strictly not allowed.

IHRC Licenses are now due for renewal, race fees of €20 per horse including a trainers declaration must also be submitted for each horse intending to race in 2009. Existing License holders should receive the renewal forms in the post within the next week or so, all renewal forms are available to download from the website. All applications must be returned complete with full payment to the IHRC Secretary Gillian Arnold prior to entering any horse to race. Under no circumstances will any race track be permitted to take entries from unlicensed personnel or for horses with unpaid race fees. Renewals and Race Fees will NOT be accepted on race day.

License Fees :

• Owner: €15 or £14stg
• Trainer: €15 or £14stg
• Driver: €15 or £14stg
• Any single category license €15 + €20 registration fee (£34stg).
• Any combination of two category license €30 + €20 registration fee (£34stg).
• Any three category license €45 + €20 registration fee (£62stg).

• License to Train: €30 or £30stg.
• (persons training their own horses and no more than two belonging to persons outside their immediate family)

• Public Trainer: €70 or £65stg
• (a Public Trainers’ License entitles the holder to train any Standardbred horse for racing under these Rules).
