• The IHRC are convening meetings at the following venues to outline proposals for a new handicapping system for the 2010 season together with the updating of the current rule book, new dope testing procedures and penalties. All current IHRC license holders/members should attend these meetings to familiarise themselves with these proposals and have an input into the future direction of the sport.
  Northern Region: Sunday 15th November 2009 at 3.00pm Chimney Corner Hotel.
  Cork and Southern Region: Saturday 5th December 2009 at 8.00pm Pike Community Hall Lisavaird
  Dublin and Midlands Region: Sunday 13th December 2009 (time and venue to be advised later).

• A race night in aid of Ballydehob National School will be held at Ballydehob Community Hall on Friday, 23rd October, to help the school purchase Interactive Whiteboards for the classrooms.
